ABOUT
Eddie Seville gained a reputation for visceral live shows and gritty songwriting that often blurs the lines between rock & roll and traditional country music. His songs are covered by local musicians, regional bands and international artists that include George Kooymans of the band Golden Earring, who recorded "Ticket to Heaven" from Eddie’s first EP and “Blind Love”, which Sony / Universal released as a European single.
His three-chord rocker "Carol Ann" is included in The Essential Western New England Songbook, his co-writes with guitarist David DiPietro including “Victims” and “Child of Sin” became anthems for the band T.T. Quick and his cheeky ballad "One More Guitar” launched an ad campaign and a signature acoustic by the Netherlands based Homestead Guitar Company.
Eddie’s work spans projects with veteran New York / Nashville producer Paul Orofino (Ahmad Jamal), Frank Carillo (Peter Frampton), Danny Miranda (Queen), Matt Cartsonis (Warren Zevon), Simon Kirke (Free / Bad Company) and Augie Meyers (Texas Tornados / Bob Dylan) in addition to writing, recording and arranging for film, television, indie and major label releases.
